Elaine Brown joined the Portland office of Gordon & Polscer, L.L.C. in 2006 as an associate. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage matters.
Elaine received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science “with high honors” from the University of Nevada in 1988, and her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark, Northwestern School of Law, in December 1992. During law school, Elaine was an associate editor of Environmental Law Review. She was admitted to practice in Oregon in 1993.
Before joining Gordon & Polscer, L.L.C., Elaine practiced complex civil litigation in the areas of product liability and premises liability. She has recently revised the chapter on Asbestos in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, an Oregon State Bar publication.
Outside of work, Elaine likes to spend time with her family, and enjoys gardening, hiking, and watching her younger son play soccer.
