Elaine Brown joined the Portland office of Gordon & Polscer, L.L.C., in 2006. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage advice and litigation, and on the defense of insureds against personal injury claims. Elaine’s experience also includes considerable work on appeals.
Elaine received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science “with high honors” from the University of Nevada in 1988, and her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark, Northwestern School of Law, in December 1992. During law school, Elaine was an associate editor of Environmental Law Review. She is admitted to practice in Oregon state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
Before joining Gordon & Polscer, L.L.C., Elaine practiced complex civil litigation in the areas of product liability and premises liability. She revised the chapter on Asbestos in the most recent edition of Environmental and Natural Resources Law, an Oregon State Bar publication. Elaine is currently appointed to the Client Security Fund Committee of the Oregon State Bar.
