Elizabeth Eames joined the Portland office of Gordon & Polscer as an associate attorney in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth was a prosecutor in the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office where she gained courtroom experience in numerous hearings and over twenty court and jury trials.

Her practice focuses on defending and providing coverage advice for insurance company clients in the areas of commercial general liability, commercial property, homeowners, and specialty lines. She deals with a wide range of issues including construction defect, fraud and misrepresentation, arson, collapse, environmental, bad faith, and appellate work. Recent litigation successes include prevailing on a Motion for Summary Judgment in which the court found there was no duty to defend or indemnify the insured under a Real Estate Professional Errors and Omissions Policy.

Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology from Colgate University in 2001. In 2007, she graduated from Willamette University College of Law, where she served as an executive editor on Law Review. After law school, Elizabeth worked as a judicial clerk in the Oregon Circuit Court in Multnomah County for the Honorable Kathleen Dailey.
