Evan Gruetter is an associate in our Tigard Office. He is licensed in Oregon, Washington, and California. His experience centered on civil defense litigation for insureds involved in automobile, construction defect, contract, and general liability claims. During his practice, he represented insured clients in complex multi-party suits with involved motion practice. Evan has represented carriers in first-party claims, intervenor actions, subrogation, and high-exposure cases involving excess coverage. Evan has litigated cases involving coverage issues for insured clients and extended his practice to insurance coverage issues. While Evan prioritizes early resolution of litigated cases for clients, he prepares for the challenge and importance of a robust defense at trial and pursuit of appeals. 

 

Evan earned his bachelor's degree from Marshall University in 2010. He completed a Master of Science from University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2015. He completed law school at Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina in 2019 and began practice in California. After moving to Portland, Oregon in 2022, he was admitted to Oregon and Washington to begin his practice in the Pacific Northwest.
