Stephen Archer is an associate in our Portland office. His practice emphasizes insurance coverage analysis and insurance coverage litigation. Stephen is licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington.
Before joining Gordon & Polscer, L.L.C., Stephen worked for an active litigation firm in Portland, where his practice focused upon insurance coverage in the evolving landscape of complex construction defect cases in the Pacific Northwest. Stephen has also worked in a law firm in Eugene, where his practice focused upon municipal law, providing advice to several Oregon cities regarding the wide range of issues they face.
Stephen earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Santa Clara University. In 1996, he graduated from the Willamette University College of Law, where he was part of the Willamette Law Review, Willamette Moot Court Board, and the recipient of the Roy Lockenour Award for Professional Responsibility. During law school, Stephen worked as a law clerk in the Special Litigation Unit for the Oregon Department of Justice.
